  1. The purpose of this document is to establish SnackCo of America’s documented stance on discrimination and processes for reporting discrimination if it is believed to exist.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO):

Equal employment opportunity has been, and will continue to be, a basic principle at SnackCo of America.

Employment at SnackCo of America is based upon merit, ability, and qualifications.

No qualified applicant or employee is to be discriminated against because of race, color, religion, political affiliation, gender, marital or maternal status, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran, military, or genetic status.

Our equal employment opportunity commitment applies to all areas of employment, including hiring, training, placement, promotion, and compensation.

 

No Discrimination Because of Relationship or Association:

Applicants and/or associates who are related to or associated with persons in a protected class will not be discriminated against because of that relationship.

 


Reporting Violations:

Associates who feel they are a victim of, or are a witness to, any possible violation of this policy should immediately report the facts to their Manager or any other member of Management.

Questions, concerns, and complaints will be investigated promptly and as confidentially as possible under the circumstances.

 

Retaliation Prohibited:

Associates should feel free to raise concerns, ask questions, report possible violations of our Equal Employment Opportunity policy, or assist in an investigation without fear of retaliation.

 

Corrective Action:

Appropriate corrective action will be taken against any associate or Manager found to have violated this policy.
