| Description: Procedure to perform Salt Test using the Dicromat. |

| Policy: Dicromat Usage Crush sample chips. Weigh out 20 grams (scale) of crushed chips and mix with 200 ml distill water. Mix the product with distilled water for 2 minutes. Strain the prepared mixture through a common kitchen strainer just prior to running the Set-Points. Pour strained sample through probe reservoir while holding finger over bottom of bore to prevent liquid from exiting, and the percent salt will be displayed. Dicromat Maintenance Rinse with distilled water after each sample. After each shift use a bottle brush and apply dishsoap directly to the brush. Insert and remove brush 10-15 times. Rinse well with distilled water. Dry bowl and probe bore with a paper towel Siete Set Points
